Chicago, Illinois – A stretch of pleasant, dry weather is on the horizon for Chicago, though a stray shower remains possible for those moving through the Hwy 24 corridor tonight. Low temperatures are expected to settle between 60 and 69 degrees this evening.
According to the National Weather Service , Thursday will bring decreasing cloudiness with daytime highs reaching 75 to 80 degrees. This comfortable pattern continues into Friday as the region sees plenty of sunshine and highs between 77 and 81 degrees.
City residents and those in the surrounding suburbs should note that while the bulk of the weekend will be dry, there is a 20% chance of rain briefly impacting plans at some point. As the warming trend takes hold, temperatures will climb to 81 to 86 degrees on Saturday. Sunday will remain warm with highs between 76 and 85 degrees, while overnight lows in the city will stay in the upper 60s.
