Chicago: Cook County Jail inmate charged with possession of contraband
A Cook County Jail inmate has been charged with possession of contraband after authorities discovered synthetic cannabinoids hidden during a facility search.

Chicago, IL – A Cook County Jail inmate is facing new criminal charges after authorities discovered illicit substances inside the correctional facility earlier this year.
According to the Cook County Sheriff's Office, Max Hernandez was indicted for possession of contraband following a search conducted on April 2. During the inspection in Division 11, officers allegedly discovered synthetic cannabinoids hidden inside the inmate's sock.
