Pleasantdale Middle School's Remarkable Milestone BURR RIDGE, Ill. — Pleasantdale Middle School has surpassed a significant milestone, raising over $117,000 for the American Cancer Society since the inception of their annual Relay for Life event. The 16th annual fundraiser held this past Thursday at Walker Park saw students and staff come together once again to support cancer research and patient services.
Community Support and Student Involvement The event, which has become a staple in the Burr Ridge community, showcased the dedication of students who organized various activities throughout the day to drive donations. Seventh graders Ajeet Kapur and Ethan Ebeid were recognized for their efforts, finishing second and first, respectively, in the relay activities.
The funds raised continue to bolster local and national efforts to combat cancer, reflecting the ongoing commitment of the Pleasantdale school community to this critical cause.
