Bradley, IL – Families across Kankakee County can mark their calendars for a Halloween celebration next week as the Village of Bradley prepares to host its fourth annual West Broadway Trick or Treat event on Thursday, Oct. 22.
According to the Village of Bradley, the community celebration will take place from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. along West Broadway , bringing local businesses and families together for an evening of Halloween activities.
The event offers families an opportunity to celebrate the holiday in a community setting while visiting participating businesses along the West Broadway corridor.
Village officials announced that a complete list of participating businesses will be released Tuesday, Oct. 20 , allowing families to plan their visits before the event.
In addition to the West Broadway trick or treat activities, families are encouraged to stop by Bradley's Trunk or Treat , located near the intersection of Cleveland Avenue and West Broadway.
The two activities will be held in conjunction, giving attendees another Halloween themed stop during the evening.
Now in its fourth year, the West Broadway Trick or Treat celebration continues to provide a seasonal opportunity for Bradley residents and neighboring Kankakee County communities to participate in local festivities.
The event is scheduled for the late afternoon and early evening, making it an option for families looking to enjoy Halloween activities before the holiday itself on Oct. 31.
Parents planning to attend are encouraged to check the village's upcoming business participation announcement for additional locations and event information.
Specific parking arrangements, street closures and weather related contingency plans were not included in the announcement.
Residents with questions can contact village representative Kym at kbnelson@bradleyil.org , as listed on the official event flyer.
The celebration is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 22, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on West Broadway in Bradley , just north of Kankakee.
