Bradley, IL – Families, staff and community members in the Bradley Bourbonnais area are being asked to help shape the future of local education as Bradley Bourbonnais Community High School District 307 begins searching for its next superintendent.
According to the district's Board of Education , a superintendent search survey is being distributed to gather public input on the qualities, experience and leadership characteristics residents believe the district's next educational leader should possess.
The search affects the high school district serving the Bradley Bourbonnais community in Kankakee County, south of the Chicago metropolitan area.
Community Input Will Help Shape Superintendent Search
The Board of Education has partnered with three superintendent search consultants: Dr. John Palan, Dr. Tim Kilrea and Cathie Pezanoski of Pezanoski and Associates.
The consultants will use feedback collected through the survey, along with discussions involving the school board and a staff and administration focus group, to develop a leadership profile for the district's next superintendent.
That profile will help guide the search process as officials evaluate potential candidates for the position.
Survey Responses Will Remain Anonymous
District officials emphasized that all survey responses will remain anonymous and confidential.
Responses will be submitted directly to the educational consultants rather than being individually reviewed by district officials.
The Board of Education is asking each participant to complete the survey only once to ensure community feedback is accurately represented.
Residents Encouraged to Participate
The district says public participation is an important part of selecting its next instructional leader.
Officials have not specified a survey deadline or announced when a new superintendent is expected to be selected in the information provided.
Residents interested in participating should consult the district's official communications for access to the survey.
The Board of Education thanked community members for helping guide this important leadership decision for Bradley Bourbonnais Community High School District 307.
