Bourbonnais, IL – Fall sights, sounds and flavors will come together Saturday as a local student string orchestra performs at Rietveld’s Farmstand and Greenhouse in Bourbonnais.
According to an announcement from Rietveld’s Farmstand and Greenhouse, the Grace Christian Academy fifth through 12th grade string orchestra will perform at the farmstand Saturday, Oct. 3, beginning at 10 a.m.
The performance gives families in Bourbonnais, Kankakee County and the greater Kankakee area an opportunity to hear young local musicians while enjoying a fall morning at the farmstand.
Rietveld’s said visitors can expect live music alongside seasonal offerings, including fresh apple cider cinnamon donuts and apple cider available for purchase. The farmstand will also be fully stocked for customers during the event.
Organizers described the performance as an opportunity to celebrate fall with the “beautiful sounds & sights” of the season.
The event is scheduled at Rietveld’s Farmstand and Greenhouse, 4067 E. 4000N Road in Bourbonnais. The student orchestra is expected to begin playing at 10 a.m. Saturday.
