Bourbonnais, IL – Residents now have a new way to receive village alerts, report concerns and keep up with community events after Bourbonnais launched its official My BourbonnAid mobile app Thursday.
According to the Village of Bourbonnais , My BourbonnAid is designed to give residents a central place to stay informed and connected with village services and community information.
The app includes access to real time alerts , local event information and tools allowing residents to report concerns directly through their phones. Village officials said the platform is intended to make it easier for people to connect with the community and find information in one place.
Users can also access village resources and service related features through the app. Promotional images released by the village show menu options for areas including events, parks, permits, utilities and news.
The Village of Bourbonnais announced the launch Thursday, encouraging residents to download the app and begin using its available features.
My BourbonnAid can be downloaded through both the Apple App Store and Google Play . The village also provides access and additional information through its website at villageofbourbonnais.com/resources/village app/ .
The launch gives Bourbonnais residents another option for receiving municipal information without relying solely on social media posts or visits to individual village webpages.
Residents who choose to install the app can use it to monitor local updates and access available village services from a mobile device.
The announcement did not indicate whether additional features are planned for future versions of the app.
