St. Charles: Former Chiropractor Pleads Guilty to Felony Charges
A former Batavia chiropractor has pleaded guilty to felony charges involving child sexual abuse material in St. Charles. Sentencing is set for November.

St. Charles, IL – A former Batavia chiropractor has entered a guilty plea to serious felony charges related to the production and dissemination of child sexual abuse material. David H. Hanson is now awaiting sentencing following his court appearance on September 3, 2026.
According to the Kane County State's Attorney's Office, the plea concludes a rigorous investigation into Hanson, who allegedly recorded patients secretly and possessed illegal material. The investigation was conducted by the Batavia Police Department in coordination with the Kane County State's Attorney's Office.
Hanson is scheduled to appear for sentencing on November 10, 2026, at the Kane County Judicial Center in Courtroom 313. Further details regarding the case are available through the Kane County State's Attorney's Office website.
