Macon, GA – A 15 year old has been arrested and charged as an adult in connection with a shooting at Carolyn Crayton Park in Macon, according to an update from the Bibb County Sheriff ’s Office.
According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office , investigators identified Ahmad Lundy, 15 , as an alleged suspect in the shooting, which occurred at approximately 12:06 a.m. Sunday at the park.
Authorities said Lundy was interviewed Tuesday by investigators with the sheriff’s office Criminal Investigation Division. He was then arrested and processed through the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center .
The sheriff’s office said Lundy was subsequently transferred to the Macon Regional Youth Detention Center .
Lundy has been charged as an adult with 12 counts of aggravated assault , according to the sheriff’s office. Authorities did not provide additional details in Tuesday’s update about what investigators allege Lundy did during the incident.
The announcement described Lundy’s arrest as an additional arrest in the ongoing investigation. The sheriff’s office did not provide further information in the update about other suspects or previously announced arrests.
