Washington, DC – Dry, sunny weather will continue across the Baltimore Washington region through Thursday, Oct. 8, as temperatures gradually warm and some locations reach the lower 80s.
According to the National Weather Service Baltimore/Washington, the region will remain dry during the week with a warming temperature trend. The agency's forecast graphic shows no precipitation through Thursday.
Tuesday will be the coolest day of the three day outlook. Highs across the NWS forecast area are expected to range from 53 to 71 degrees, with overnight lows ranging from 38 to 57.
A noticeable warmup arrives Wednesday. Regional highs are forecast from 59 to 80 degrees, while lows Wednesday night range from 45 to 61.
Temperatures climb further Thursday, when highs across the region are forecast between 59 and 84 degrees. Overnight lows will range from 40 to 63.
The broad temperature ranges reflect the varied terrain covered by the Baltimore/Washington forecast office, including lower elevations and cooler mountain locations. Individual communities such as Washington and Baltimore should not necessarily expect the highest or lowest values displayed in the regional outlook.
