Wilmington, DE – Delaware State Police have identified the 69 year old man who died in a fatal pedestrian crash in Wilmington on Friday afternoon, as investigators continue working to determine the circumstances surrounding the deadly incident.
According to Delaware State Police, Ronald Rogers, 69, of Wilmington , was the pedestrian who lost his life in the crash Friday, Oct. 9. Authorities confirmed his identity in an update released Sunday, Oct. 11.
The fatal collision occurred in Wilmington, located in New Castle County, within the greater Philadelphia metropolitan region.
The Delaware State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit remains responsible for investigating the crash. Authorities have not announced additional findings in Sunday's update regarding the circumstances leading to the collision.
Police Seek Witnesses and Video Evidence
Investigators are asking anyone who witnessed the crash or may have recorded video of the incident to come forward.
