According to the National Weather Service Denver Boulder office, temperatures will reach approximately 70 degrees Monday, Nov. 9, before dropping toward 39 degrees Monday night.
That represents a 31 degree difference between the day's projected high and low.
At Buckley Space Force Base, temperatures registered 40 degrees early Sunday, Nov. 8, under fair skies.
The extended outlook indicates sunshine and dry conditions will continue through Veterans Day and into the weekend.
Monday Brings the Warmest Afternoon Monday could become the warmest day of the week, with sunshine and temperatures approaching 70 degrees.
South southwest winds around 6 mph should become calm during the morning.
The mild afternoon offers favorable conditions for outdoor work, walking and seasonal yard cleanup.

Keep an extra jacket available if heading outdoors after sunset.

By Tuesday night, readings should return to around 39 degrees.

For residents attending Veterans Day ceremonies, afternoon conditions should remain comfortable, although early and late activities will require warmer clothing.
The dry pattern also favors travel along Interstate 25, Interstate 70 and Interstate 225.
No widespread precipitation related travel problems are indicated in the supplied Denver outlook.
What About Colorado Snow? November is an important transition month for Colorado's Front Range.
Snow and freezing temperatures become increasingly relevant as Thanksgiving approaches.
However, the latest supplied National Weather Service outlook does not indicate measurable snowfall in Denver through Saturday, Nov. 14.
Nighttime temperatures are projected to remain above freezing, generally ranging from 38 to 40 degrees.
That reduces the immediate concern for widespread ice formation associated with freezing temperatures.
Still, temperatures can vary by elevation and location, particularly outside the urban core.
Drivers heading into higher elevations should check mountain specific forecasts rather than relying on Denver's conditions.
Mild Weather Continues Into the Weekend Thursday, Nov. 12, brings sunshine and temperatures near 66 degrees.
Friday warms slightly, with a high around 68 degrees.
Saturday remains mostly sunny, with temperatures expected to reach approximately 66 degrees.
The consistent pattern gives residents several opportunities to prepare homes and vehicles before more significant winter weather eventually arrives.
