San Francisco, CA – More than 1,200 workers at San Francisco International Airport are expected to lose their jobs this fall under a newly reported layoff notice affecting Covenant Aviation Security employees.
According to a California WARN notice cited Tuesday by WhatLayoff, Covenant Aviation Security LLC plans to permanently lay off 1,279 employees working at San Francisco International Airport.
The layoffs are scheduled to take effect Monday, Nov. 30, 2026 , according to the notice.
