Hanford, CA – Residents across Hanford and surrounding Kings County communities can expect a sunny start to the week Monday, October 26, with temperatures reaching 75 degrees before a gradual cooling trend brings increasing clouds and the possibility of rain over the weekend.
According to the National Weather Service in Hanford, mostly sunny conditions will dominate much of the workweek across the central San Joaquin Valley, with daytime highs generally ranging from the upper 60s to mid 70s.
Monday is expected to bring sunshine and a high near 75 degrees. Calm morning winds will become northwesterly around 5 mph during the afternoon, providing relatively comfortable conditions for outdoor activities and travel.
Temperatures will fall to approximately 50 degrees Monday night under mostly clear skies.
Tuesday remains sunny, although afternoon temperatures are expected to reach only 71 degrees. Overnight lows will drop to around 48 degrees.
The cooling trend continues Wednesday , with mostly sunny skies and a high near 70 degrees. Increasing clouds are expected Wednesday night, with temperatures falling to approximately 49 degrees.
Thursday brings mostly cloudy skies and a high near 71 degrees before temperatures dip to around 50 overnight.
Friday should remain mostly sunny, with a high near 69 degrees.
The most noticeable change arrives over the weekend.
Saturday carries a 20% chance of rain, with partly sunny skies and a high near 64 degrees. Rain chances increase to 30% Saturday night and remain at 30% Sunday, when temperatures could reach only 62 degrees.
The forecast suggests a transition toward cooler and somewhat unsettled conditions, although widespread or heavy rainfall is not currently indicated.
