Wichita, Kansas – Scattered showers and storms return Thursday and continue into Saturday as highs climb from the 70s into the upper 80s.
According to the National Weather Service in Wichita, near average temperatures will continue across central, south central and southeast Kansas this week. Daytime highs will generally range through the 70s and 80s.
Tuesday remains mild with light winds and highs ranging from 75 to 81 degrees across the region. Overnight lows fall into the 54 58 degree range.
Wednesday stays dry under partly cloudy skies. Temperatures rise slightly, with afternoon highs of 78 to 83 and nighttime lows ranging from 56 to 61.
The weather pattern changes Thursday as scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms develop across central Kansas. Highs will range from 78 to 85, while overnight temperatures remain milder at 60 to 65.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms remain possible Friday and Saturday. The Weather Service graphic does not provide rainfall amounts, storm timing or severe weather probabilities, so residents should monitor updates as the wetter period approaches.
