Vermont Police Seek Tips in 1976 Unsolved Homicide Case

Milton, Vermont – The Vermont State Police are renewing their appeal for information regarding the unsolved homicide of 19-year-old David Milizia. The young man was discovered in Milton on September 4, 1976, and the case remains open nearly five decades later.
According to the Major Crimes Unit, investigators are continuing to seek leads that could help provide answers in the cold case. Officials are encouraging anyone who may have relevant information regarding the circumstances of the incident to come forward to assist in the ongoing investigation.
The agency has established a digital resource for the public to review details and contribute information at http://vsp.vermont.gov/unsolved/homicide. Authorities hope that renewed public interest may help bring closure to the long-standing investigation into the 1976 death.
