Tulsa Weather: Isolated Storms Possible Tuesday

Tulsa, Oklahoma – Isolated showers and thunderstorms could develop Tuesday, but most of eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas will remain dry.
According to the National Weather Service in Tulsa, low rain and thunderstorm chances develop Tuesday morning along a southward moving midlevel front, primarily across southeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas. No severe weather is expected.
Rain chances around Tulsa, Bartlesville and much of northeast Oklahoma remain below 10%. Probabilities increase farther southeast, reaching 10% to 20% around McAlester and parts of southeast Oklahoma.
Northwest Arkansas also has a 10% to 20% chance of precipitation Tuesday morning, including areas around Fayetteville and Fort Smith.
The chance for thunderstorms does not completely end after the morning. An isolated storm could develop Tuesday afternoon across far southeast Oklahoma and western Arkansas.
Most communities should remain dry, limiting widespread travel impacts. However, drivers could encounter brief wet roads or reduced visibility beneath any isolated shower or thunderstorm that develops.
Residents with outdoor plans should keep an eye on conditions, particularly across southeast Oklahoma and western Arkansas, where precipitation chances are higher. The Weather Service does not expect severe weather, and most locations are expected to stay dry Tuesday.
