Springfield, Missouri – Patchy morning fog and drizzle could affect visibility in the Ozarks before mostly dry and warmer conditions develop through Thursday.
According to the National Weather Service in Springfield, patchy fog and drizzle are possible over the next few mornings. Outside of low rain chances Tuesday morning and Friday, the region should remain mostly dry.
Tuesday highs range from 72 to 83 degrees, with a 0% to 20% chance of precipitation. Scattered showers are possible mainly south of Highway 65.
Patchy fog or drizzle returns Wednesday morning. Conditions become mostly clear afterward, with no rain indicated and highs ranging from 75 to 84 degrees.
Drivers encountering fog or drizzle during the morning commute should slow down and allow more distance between vehicles when visibility or pavement conditions deteriorate.
Thursday brings the clearest conditions in the four day outlook. Mostly clear skies are expected with highs from 75 to 85 degrees and no rain indicated.
Temperatures climb another degree Friday, when highs range from 76 to 86. A 0% to 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms returns, mainly north of Highway 54.
The primary near term concern remains patchy morning fog and drizzle. Otherwise, the Ozarks stay largely dry through Thursday before limited shower and thunderstorm chances return Friday.
