Peotone police are investigating an early morning robbery at the Peotone Travel Center where eight masked suspects stole cash and damaged gaming machines.

Peotone, IL – The Peotone Police Department is actively investigating a robbery that occurred early this morning at the Peotone Travel Center. Authorities were alerted to the incident at 4:58 a.m. as the crime unfolded at the local business.
According to the Peotone Police Department, eight masked suspects arrived at the scene in two separate vehicles. The group allegedly entered the facility and caused damage to several gaming machines before making off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The investigation into the robbery remains ongoing as police look for further details regarding the suspects and the vehicles involved. No further information regarding the identities of the suspects has been released at this time.
