Pennsylvania Police Renew Appeal for Missing Hanover Woman

Hanover, PA – The Pennsylvania State Police Troop H, Gettysburg, has renewed its investigation into the disappearance of Diane Wolfe, also known as Diane Louise Wolf. Authorities are offering a $5,000 reward for information that leads to solving the case.

According to historical records, Diane Wolfe was reported missing by her husband, Merle Wolf, on January 31, 1999, at 9:30 a.m. She was last seen on January 29, 1999, at 7:00 a.m. after ending her shift at Hanover Foods Inc. on 1550 York Street. Her records indicate she cashed a paycheck at Dauphin Deposit at 105 Dart Drive shortly thereafter. On February 1, 1999, her 1994 Pontiac Grand Prix was located in the parking lot of Weis Markets on Baltimore Street in Penn Township.

Investigators stated that her failure to return home and the location of her vehicle represent a significant departure from her normal behavior. The investigation was officially turned over to the Pennsylvania State Police on February 5, 1999. Since then, Diane Wolfe has not been located.
