New Lenox, IL – The Village of New Lenox has officially opened the hiring process for entry level police officer positions. Individuals interested in a career in local law enforcement have until September 16, 2026, to finalize their applications.
According to the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners, applications for the positions may be purchased until 2:00 PM on September 16, 2026. All completed application materials must be submitted to the village no later than 4:00 PM on that same day to be considered for the current recruitment cycle.
