Milwaukee, WI – The Milwaukee Police Department has issued a formal statement outlining new, stricter protocols regarding the use of Flock camera technology within the city. These measures aim to establish clear guardrails for the department as it utilizes the surveillance tools for public safety.

According to the Milwaukee Police Department, the updated policy includes significant limitations on how staff interact with the system. Access to the camera data will now be restricted specifically to supervisors. Furthermore, the department is ending its practice of sharing data collected from these cameras with outside jurisdictions.
