Eugene, OR – The Lane County Sheriff 's Office has initiated an active search for a 27 year old Eugene woman who was reported missing over the weekend. Authorities are currently focusing their efforts near the intersection of McKenzie View Drive and Coburg Road, where evidence suggests she may have been as recently as Friday evening.
According to the Lane County Sheriff 's Office, deputies were notified of the disappearance of Gina Christina Piazza on Sunday, September 20. Following the report, a multi agency operation involving the Lane County Sheriff Search & Rescue team, Marine Patrol, and local detectives was launched to locate her.
The Eugene Police Department is also providing assistance in the ongoing investigation. Piazza is described as an Asian female, 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighing approximately 120 pounds.
She has black hair and brown eyes. At the time she was last seen, she was wearing a long sleeved tan shirt, black pants, and black shoes.
