An audacious theft at a local Walgreens turned violent when an Indianapolis woman allegedly used pepper spray on employees before fleeing the scene. According to reports, the incident occurred at a Walgreens location in Schererville, Indiana, involving a suspect from Indianapolis who reportedly made off with 19 bottles of alcohol.
Authorities state the woman entered the establishment and began concealing bottles of alcohol. When confronted by store employees, she allegedly deployed pepper spray at staff members to facilitate her escape.
The suspect reportedly fled the scene with the stolen items. Local police are actively investigating the incident and seeking information from the public to help identify the individual.
