Keener Township, IN – Local emergency crews were dispatched to the 400 block of 9th St. S.W. on Sunday morning following reports of a structure fire. Firefighters arrived at the scene at approximately 5:59 a.m. to find a small shed fully involved in flames and already collapsed.
According to the Keener Twp. Vol Fire Dept, the blaze was addressed quickly by personnel on the scene.
While the Wheatfield Fire Department was initially requested to assist with manpower, they were advised to disregard their response after Keener crews determined that no further assistance was required.
