A new University YMCA exhibit featuring Jose Vazquez’s mural photography highlights the diverse identities and shared belonging of Champaign Urbana residents. The display is part of Welcoming Week, a Sept. 9 19 series offering nearly 30 events and support for immigrant communities. Its focus on art, inclusion and local services offers insight into how the area is celebrating and supporting newcomers.
