Jonesborough, TN – A Washington County Grand Jury has formally indicted a Johnson City man on multiple felony drug charges. Nathan Benjamin Webb, 50, is currently facing two counts of Schedule II drug violations related to the distribution of fentanyl, as well as two counts of maintaining a dwelling for the purposes of drug use or distribution.
According to Washington County Sheriff Keith Sexton, the arrest is the result of a targeted investigation conducted by the Sheriff& 39;s Strike Team SST . The investigation reportedly focused on activities occurring at a residence located on Knob Creek Dock Road earlier this year. Authorities allege that the evidence gathered during the probe directly linked Webb to the illegal distribution of controlled substances.
On September 7, 2026, members of the Sheriff& 39;s Strike Team served the presentment against Webb and took him into custody without further incident. Following his arrest, the suspect was transported to the Washington County Detention Center for processing. He is currently being held at the facility pending his court appearance, with his bond set at $25,000.
The Sheriff’s Office has reaffirmed its commitment to combating the distribution of dangerous narcotics within the local area. While the indictment marks a significant development in the investigation, officials noted that the case is ongoing.
