Chicago, IL – Illinois shoppers are being urged to check their pantries after Lior Cinnamon Ground Seasoning was recalled because of elevated lead levels, raising concerns about potential health effects from prolonged exposure.
According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration information provided with the recall, the affected ground cinnamon was distributed to grocery stores, delis and supermarkets in Illinois, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Texas and Florida.
