CHICAGO, IL — Families receiving autism therapy services in Illinois are among those who could benefit from new technology investments announced by a nationwide behavioral health provider, with changes designed to improve treatment tracking, care coordination and administrative efficiency.
According to an Oct. 16 announcement from Cultivate Behavioral Health & Education, the organization has completed implementation of two technology platforms, Hi Rasmus and Lumary, across its network of Applied Behavior Analysis ABA therapy centers.
The upgrades are intended to help clinical teams better monitor children's progress while reducing time spent on administrative responsibilities.
New Technology Targets Individualized Autism Care Hi Rasmus is a clinical documentation and data collection platform developed with input from Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
The system allows therapists to track treatment progress, review clinical information and adjust care plans according to each child's individual goals.
Lumary focuses on the operational side of care, combining scheduling, insurance authorizations, billing and administrative workflows into a centralized platform.
Cultivate says the systems are designed to improve communication between departments and allow staff to dedicate more attention to patients and families.
What Illinois Families Should Know Cultivate operates autism therapy services in Illinois and 11 other states, including Wisconsin, Missouri and Indiana's neighboring state of Kentucky.
“At Cultivate, our People, Patients, Performance model is at the center of how we operate and make decisions,” said Chief Operating Officer Mike Foulk.
The organization said the rollout followed months of planning, testing and employee training.
Founded in 2015, Cultivate provides specialized services for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.
While the company expects improved clinical coordination and efficiency, it has not released measurable patient outcome data demonstrating the impact of the new platforms.
