Greenville County, SC – A deputy and a suspect were both hospitalized following an officer involved shooting that took place on September 4, 2026, near the intersection of Page Dr. and White Horse Rd.
According to the Greenville County Sheriff 's Office, the shooting occurred during an encounter at the location. Emergency responders transported both the injured deputy and the suspect to local hospitals for treatment. Details regarding the conditions of those involved have not yet been released.
The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division SLED has taken over the investigation into the incident, as is standard procedure for officer involved shootings. The suspect was allegedly involved in the event that led to the discharge of firearms by both parties.
