Incident Details Two 19 year olds were arrested late Monday night following an alleged home invasion and assault in Elgin, according to the Fayette County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies were called to a residence in the town of Elgin regarding reports of a break in and subsequent physical altercation. Upon arrival, law enforcement encountered two suspects attempting to flee the scene.
Both individuals, identified by local authorities, have been taken into custody and are facing charges related to burglary and assault. They remain in jail as the investigation continues.
