A WashU faculty committee will advise Chancellor Andrew D. Martin as the university considers its response to U.S. Education Secretary Linda McMahon’s “Call to Action” letter. The review will address free speech, admissions transparency, affordability and academic standards amid artificial intelligence. Faculty input could help shape the university’s priorities and response by the 2026 deadline.
