WASHINGTON, D.C. Skip Hop is recalling Baby Sesame Street Elmo Silicone Teethers because the product’s black eyes can detach when the teether is frozen, creating a choking hazard for children. The recall was announced Sept. 3, 2026, and affects consumers who have the product.
According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, a detached eye could cause serious injury or death if swallowed or inhaled. Parents and caregivers should stop using the recalled teether immediately and keep it away from children.
