Dutchess County, NY – A 40 year old man faces felony charges after authorities allege he sold fentanyl and crack cocaine in the Town of Northeast near the Connecticut state line.
According to the Dutchess County District Attorney's Office, Drug Task Force agents arrested Schuyler Houis following an investigation into alleged narcotics sales at a Northeast residence. Authorities said agents identified the home and Houis after receiving information about significant suspected drug activity.

On Thursday, Oct. 2, Drug Task Force members and the Dutchess County Sheriff 's Office Emergency Services Unit, or SWAT, executed a search warrant at the residence. Prosecutors said narcotics and other evidence allegedly connected to drug sales were seized.
Houis was charged with one count of third degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, a Class B felony, and one count of fourth degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a Class C felony.
He was arraigned in Town of Northeast Court and released as required under New York law to appear at a later date, according to prosecutors. Authorities said additional charges related to alleged narcotics sales are pending.
