Benner Township, PA – Pennsylvania State Police are continuing their search for a 48 year old man who has been missing from Centre County for more than a year, renewing calls for information about his whereabouts.
According to Pennsylvania State Police Troop G's Rockview Station, David Arleth Jr. was last seen around noon on Aug. 20, 2025, in the area of Nilson Road in Centre County. Police say he may be at special risk of harm or injury or could be confused.
Arleth was 48 when he disappeared. He is described as 5 feet, 5 inches tall and approximately 160 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.
State police say Arleth is believed to be operating a navy blue 2016 Subaru Outback with Pennsylvania registration HSS9816. Authorities stressed that the vehicle shown in the original missing person advisory is not the actual vehicle.
The renewed appeal comes as investigators continue seeking information that could help locate Arleth. Pennsylvania State Police have not indicated in the latest notice that he has been found.
Anyone who sees Arleth or has immediate information about his whereabouts is asked to call 911. Tips can also be provided to Pennsylvania State Police at Rockview at 610 279 1901 , through PSP Tips at 1 800 472 8477 , or online through the department's tip system.
Pennsylvania State Police said callers to PSP Tips may be eligible for a cash reward when information helps locate a missing person or solves an unsolved case.
Authorities advise the information in the alert is subject to change as the investigation continues.
