Aurora Watch Tonight: Northern Lights May Appear in Pacific Northwest in Washington, Oregon Seattle, Washington – A rare G4 Severe geomagnetic storm is creating favorable conditions for the Northern Lights to be visible tonight across parts of the Pacific Northwest, including Washington and Oregon.
Space weather experts have alerted residents in northern latitudes that the geomagnetic activity is high enough to potentially shift the aurora borealis southward.
