ROGERSVILLE, AL – Nearly 11 years after a 59 year old woman was found murdered inside her Alabama apartment, state investigators are renewing their appeal for answers, offering a $5,000 reward for information that could help solve the case.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency ALEA , Connie Ridgeway was found murdered Oct. 23, 2015, inside her apartment in Rogersville, a community in Lauderdale County in northern Alabama near the Florence Muscle Shoals area.
As the 11th anniversary of her death approaches Friday, investigators with ALEA's State Bureau of Investigation are asking anyone with information about the killing to come forward.
Despite more than a decade passing, the homicide remains unsolved, and Ridgeway's family continues waiting for answers about who was responsible.
In a public appeal, ALEA emphasized that Ridgeway was more than a name attached to an unsolved investigation.
She was a mother and loved one whose family has spent nearly 11 years without resolution.
Authorities believe even seemingly insignificant information could help investigators piece together what happened.

The State Bureau of Investigation is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the resolution of Ridgeway's homicide.
Investigators are encouraging anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity, heard relevant information or learned something about the case over the years to contact authorities.
