Huntsville, AL – Warm and dry weather is expected across northern Alabama through Thursday, Oct. 8, with sunny days, clear nights and valley temperatures climbing well into the 80s.
According to the National Weather Service in Huntsville, no rain is expected through the four day outlook. Afternoon temperatures will be warmest in valley locations, while higher elevations should remain a few degrees cooler.
Monday will bring highs ranging from 77 to 84 degrees, with overnight lows between 48 and 57. Skies will be mostly sunny during the day.
Full sunshine is expected Tuesday as highs range from 77 to 86 degrees. Overnight temperatures should fall into the 50s to around 60.
The warming trend continues Wednesday, when highs are forecast between 79 and 87. Lows will again range from about 50 to 60 degrees under clear nighttime skies.
Thursday is expected to be the warmest day in the outlook. The NWS forecasts highs from 82 to 89 degrees, with overnight lows between 52 and 61.
The temperature ranges cover the broader NWS Huntsville forecast area rather than Huntsville specifically, and the agency notes that higher elevations will be cooler than valley areas.
No precipitation is forecast on any of the four days, and the outlook does not identify hazardous weather.
Northern Alabama residents should expect dry, sunny conditions to continue through Thursday, with progressively warmer afternoons and Thursday temperatures approaching 90 degrees in the warmest valley locations.
