Iroquois County Police Arrest Two Sheldon Men on Felony Drug and Weapon Charges

Watseka, IL – Authorities arrested two Sheldon men on Friday following the execution of an arrest warrant. The U.S. Marshals Service Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force apprehended Esteban Saenz, 44, at his residence. Saenz, wanted on a felony warrant out of Iroquois County, was taken into custody without incident.

According to the Iroquois County Sheriff’s Office, detectives then searched Saenz’s residence and discovered narcotics, a firearm, and U.S. currency. Coty R. Huckleby, 36, was also arrested during the search.

Authorities charged Saenz with unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, a Class X felony. They charged Huckleby with unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon, a Class 3 felony.

Both men remain in custody at the Iroquois County Jail. They await court appearances.
