Indianapolis, IN – The summer heat is set to intensify across central Indiana this weekend, with temperatures forecasted to climb significantly. Starting on Saturday, the area will experience highs ranging from 88°F to 91°F, providing a warm weekend for residents. However, the real heat will be felt as the week begins.

On Monday, expect the mercury to rise to between 91°F and 94°F, making it the hottest day of the week. The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has forecasted that the high humidity will hold off until after the weekend, ensuring a slightly more comfortable start to the heatwave. Still, residents should prepare for overnight lows only dipping to 70°F to 73°F, offering limited relief from the daytime heat.

The hot weather will persist into Tuesday, with temperatures climbing even higher, reaching up to 96°F. The pattern continues through Wednesday and Thursday, with highs consistently in the low to mid-90s.
