Medford, OR – Rainfall is expected to continue across western Oregon as the weekend progresses, with moderate to heavy showers already observed. Saturday’s forecast predicts additional showers, mainly in areas west of the Cascades. These areas could see between 0.25 and 0.75 inches of rain.

According to the National Weather Service, these rains may result in hazardous conditions, such as ponding water on roadways. As Sunday approaches, scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will persist, particularly along the Cascades, Blue Mountains, and Wallowa Mountains. Most areas will see only a tenth of an inch of rain on Sunday, with temperatures remaining cool.

Looking ahead to Monday, Oregon is set for unseasonably cool conditions with continued rainfall. High temperatures on Monday are expected to range from the low 70s to upper 80s. The wet conditions will taper off as the week progresses, leading to sunnier weather by Tuesday. Prepare for a mix of sunshine and cooler temperatures, particularly if spending time outdoors early in the week.
