Kankakee, IL – The search is on for a Kankakee teenager, Destinee Britton, who went missing on August 17, 2024. Authorities say Britton, 15, was last seen between 1:30 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. She may be headed toward Indiana.
Britton is described as 5’1” tall, weighing 174 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair. She was last seen wearing a black Kankakee Kay’s shirt, gray shorts, and yellow Crocs. She may also be carrying a black bookbag and possibly wearing a black hoodie with white graphics. Britton has a white brace on her right hand.
Kankakee Police are asking the public to come forward with any information. Anyone who has seen Britton or has details about her whereabouts should contact the Kankakee Police Department at (815) 933-3321.
