Today’s highs will range from 82°F in the northern parts of the valley to 91°F in southern areas like Butler and Maysville. However, the warm spell won’t last long. A cold front is set to move in Friday, bringing cooler temperatures and an increased chance of rain.

On Friday, temperatures will slightly drop, with highs ranging from 84°F to 88°F. Rain is likely, with a 60% chance of showers throughout the day. The cooling trend will continue into the weekend, with Saturday’s high only reaching 83°F, accompanied by a 40% chance of rain. Sunday will be cooler still, with temperatures peaking at 76°F and a 50% chance of showers.

Looking ahead, next week will bring even cooler conditions, with highs in the mid-70s and lows dropping to the 50s by Tuesday. Sunny skies are expected to return, making for a pleasant break after a wet weekend.
