Milwaukee, WI – A 32-year-old pedestrian was killed in a fatal hit-and-run incident on Milwaukee’s N. Water St. early Sunday morning. The tragedy occurred at approximately 2:30 a.m. on the 1400 block of N. Water St., where the pedestrian was crossing the intersection at N. Market St.
According to the Milwaukee Police Department, Unit #1, a vehicle traveling northbound on N. Water St. at a high rate of speed, struck the pedestrian and fled the scene. The victim sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the victim has not been released.
The Milwaukee Police are actively investigating the incident and are seeking any information that could lead to the identification and apprehension of the suspect or suspects involved. Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
