According to the US National Weather Service Omaha/Valley Nebraska, temperatures on Wednesday will reach a high of 91°F with smoky skies, followed by similar conditions on Thursday at 92°F. Friday promises slightly clearer skies but a high of 93°F, while Saturday and Sunday will see highs of 91°F and 95°F, respectively, with the heat index making it feel even hotter.

The first week of August shows no signs of cooling down, with temperatures expected to remain above average. Monday will see a high of 97°F, and Tuesday is forecasted to reach 99°F. The extended forecast indicates that the high temperatures will continue into the following week, with no significant precipitation expected.
