According to the US National Weather Service in Cleveland, decaying rain will move into northwest Ohio this morning, transitioning to partly cloudy skies. The afternoon will be hot and humid, with temperatures nearing 90 degrees. Thunderstorms are anticipated late tonight, some of which could become strong to severe.
The highest risk level for these storms is categorized as “isolated severe,” meaning there is a possibility of isolated severe thunderstorms. Residents are advised to take precautions, such as moving indoors when thunder is heard, avoiding flooded roadways, and staying informed about weather updates.
The forecast for the upcoming week indicates varying weather conditions across the state. Monday will see partly sunny skies with temperatures around 87 degrees. A chance of rain returns on Tuesday with a high of 84 degrees, followed by a cooler Wednesday with a 50% chance of showers and a high of 78 degrees.
Thursday through Saturday will bring clearer skies and lower temperatures, ranging from 64 to 75 degrees. By the end of the weekend, temperatures are expected to rise slightly, with Sunday and Monday’s highs in the low 80s.
