Saint Anne, IL – A woman reported her camper was stolen with her inside early Thursday morning, prompting a response from Kankakee County Sheriff’s deputies.
According to reports, the incident occurred just after 5 a.m. on E. Boy Scout Rd. The woman told deputies she was inside the camper when it was taken. She reportedly managed to escape by jumping from the moving trailer, leaving her belongings inside.
The woman was unable to provide deputies with a description of the camper or the vehicle towing it. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
