Tennessee Highway Patrol Apprehends Middle School Students for Allegedly Stealing Teacher’s SUV

Nashville, TN – Two 12-year-old students from Two Rivers Middle School were apprehended by Tennessee Highway Patrol after allegedly stealing their teacher’s SUV just before 3 p.m. on Tuesday.

According to Tennessee Highway Patrol, the two seventh graders saw the teacher had left the key to her 2024 Honda CRV on her desk. They drove out of the parking lot around 2:50 p.m. Parents of one of the students tracked the vehicle using their son’s iPad on I-40 west. The SUV was intercepted at exit 152 at Bucksnort, where the boys were taken into custody. They will face charges in Davidson County Juvenile Court.
