Wilmington, OH – The National Weather Service in Wilmington, Ohio has issued a Dense Fog Advisory for parts of Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky, effective until 10 AM EDT today. Visibility is expected to drop to one-quarter mile or less, creating potentially hazardous driving conditions.

According to the National Weather Service, the advisory, issued at 4:54 AM EDT, affects east central and southeast Indiana, northeast and northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, and west central Ohio. Dense fog is developing across the area and is expected to expand through daybreak, leading to rapidly-changing visibility.

Travelers are urged to exercise caution if driving this morning. The NWS advises slowing down, using low-beam headlights, and maintaining a safe distance from other vehicles. Allow extra time to reach your destination due to the potential for sudden drops in visibility.

The advisory underscores the importance of safety on the roads during such weather conditions. Low visibility can lead to increased chances of accidents, making it crucial for drivers to stay alert and prepared.
