Airborne Car Hits Tree, Ablaze in Fatal Keeler Township Crash

Van Buren County, MI – A devastating accident in Van Buren County claimed the life of a driver late Tuesday night. At around 9:45 p.m., a vehicle reportedly went airborne and struck a tree at the intersection of County Roads 687 and 342 in Keeler Township. 

Eyewitnesses describe a harrowing scene where the car quickly caught fire, making rescue attempts futile. Authorities confirmed that the driver, who tragically died at the scene, was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident. 

Investigations are ongoing to determine the factors leading up to this tragic event.
